Dominos disaster destroys reputation

Even though I have not actually seen the footage for myself I have heard it played over the radio and talked about on the news. I am referring to the incident that happened when two Dominos employees thought it was funny to commit several unsanitary actions against food that was represented to be prepared for costumers.
I have been listening to people talk about it and am appalled at some of the comments I have heard. I guess one of the people involved has spent time behind bars on a few different occasions. When this information was made available people started saying that Dominos should not have hired them in the first place, due to their criminal history.
I think that is a ridiculous statement. As far as I know, the criminal acts in their history are in no way linked to this behavior. You cannot condemn every person with a record to a life without work. They have to pay rent and buy groceries too unless of course the government is expected to support them.
Also, many people have "sworn off" eating Dominos food. Fast food places and restaurants should be considered a luxury. By ordering a pizza or pulling up to a drive thru you have decided it is easier to trust them to prepare your food than do it yourself.
I think sometimes we forget the people working behind that counter are just like us. Most of them are minimum wage employees who share in our laziness when they are not on the clock. Incidents like this probably happen all the time. Fortunately for us, they are not broadcasted across the Internet. As a society we have sped up. By moving faster, we are requiring our food faster, but we still want it to be just as tasty and fabulous as we think it should be.
Personally, I am not a big fan of fast food, however I do eat it because it is quick and easy. Rather than getting up an extra hour early and cooking my own breakfast I stop by Hardees, rather than requesting an extra hour off work so I can prepare a meal I stop by Arby's on my way from school to work.
Yeah, the people involved were dumb for what they did, and they have been punished accordingly. They will face the consequences and probably be known for their actions for a while.
However, I do not think Dominos is really at fault here, and I will continue dining there, just as everyone else should.
